Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDG) Cell

The Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDG) Cell of the college is established with the objective of promoting inclusive education, equal opportunity, and holistic development of students belonging to economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The cell works to ensure that no student is deprived of educational opportunities due to financial, social, or other disadvantages.

The SEDG Cell provides guidance, support, and assistance to students from marginalized and underprivileged sections of society. The cell creates awareness about various government scholarships, welfare schemes, financial assistance programs, and student support services available for eligible students. It also assists students in the application and documentation process related to scholarships and other benefits.

The cell regularly organizes counseling sessions, awareness programs, mentoring activities, and motivational initiatives to encourage students to continue their education with confidence and dignity. Special attention is given to addressing the academic, emotional, and social challenges faced by students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The institution is committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and discrimination-free campus environment where every student receives equal opportunities for learning, participation, and personal growth. Through the activities of the SEDG Cell, the college strives to uphold the values of social justice, equity, and educational empowerment for all.
